Do you have questions about the revised RUB design or your next design project using the updated design? Then our Open Office Hour is the perfect place for you.
Our next open consultation session on RUB Design will take place via Zoom on November 11, 2026 (3:00–4:00 p.m.). To participate, please send an email to cd@rub.de with the subject line “Open Consultation Hour: RUB Design.”. Please note that the meetings are usually in German, so please let us know beforehand if your language preference is English and we will adjust. You will then receive the access information via email.
Note: We offer open office hours on an irregular basis, once a month. The times vary to accommodate RUB employees with different work schedules. If these times do not work for you, please feel free to contact us directly.
Training Sessions on the Updated Design
The training portal (German link) offers five training courses—each aimed at a different target audience—that will be held in October and November 2026 to coincide with the launch of the updated design. Please note that the training courses are held in German.

RUB is Getting More Colorful: Updated Corporate Design
More colors, more flexibility, and a more accessible design: On September 30, 2026, Ruhr University Bochum will unveil its updated design. The transition to the updated corporate design will take place in phases and is expected to be completed by the end of 2028.
